Well, that’s the season finished…or not! Every division has at least one more game to be played in “week 15” so I won’t rank teams until next week. However, some things are clear…
Congratulations to Kingsley Knights who, barring them conceding their game in hand, are Champions Elect. For the first time? Red Lion are the worthy runners-up (elect) in division 1.
In Division 2, the promotion spots are clear so congrats to Mold (the only unbeaten team in the league) with Academicals as runners-up and places in the top division for the first time await.
Division 3 – Brymbo Brewers are the division winners and Mynydd Isa the runners-up.
Division 4 – West Cheshire College win it by a point, As to the runners-up, both Gwersyllt and West Kirby Wasps have the same number of points, wins and each won their home game against the other. I can confirm that, based on Gwersyllt winning the week 12 game in 18.5 overs, they have pipped WKW to the runners-up place, according to the second part of Rule B13 (iv) – but it was a very close decision.
Division 5 – Abergele win the division with Northop Hall the runners-up.
Division 6 – Kinnerton are the winners and Bank of America/Merrill Lynch the runners-up.
I have checked as thoroughly as I can but if you have any queries, please email me.
Final tables to be published next week.
